So I got back from a five day trip to Ireland today.. I got to the Dublin airport at 5:30 Dublin time (12:30 NJ time), waited 4 hours to get on my plane, another 2 hours for them to repair my plane, and another 7 hours on the plane to finally get back home to lovely (pah) New Jersey. As much as I dislike it here, it's nice to be home and to be able to sleep in my own bed. I'm extremely tired right now, and I don't know why I'm even typing this seeing as I've been up for over 24 hours, but I am, and that's that.

This trip to Ireland was my first time out of the country (besides a trip to Mexico when I was really little), so it was really exciting. I've been wanting to go to Ireland for a very long time and I am so happy that I finally got to go! Of course, being in Ireland gave me a huge opportunity to take LOTS of pictures and travel all over. Lots of Ireland is easily accessible via a local train, which is great. It was also nice that my mom has a friend in Ireland. We got to stay at his house in Balbriggan and he also drove us across the country to Galway to check out the "countryside." I have never seen a greener, more natural landscape (which isn't saying much considering where I live). Nonetheless, it was still breathtaking and I can't wait to go back!

While I was in Ireland, I went stayed in Balbriggan and Galway, and I spent a lot of time in Skerries, Dublin, and Clifden as well.
